Boogio is the hottest up-and-coming wearable smart-tech around. Any shoe can become a smart shoe by slipping in the patented Boogio sole into them. No specialized wiring, no exclusive-brand shoes, and best of all, no discomfort!
Humble Beginnings
After the embedded hardware had been designed, we began manufacturing the first prototypes that were duct-taped together so we could stuff them into shoes along with the soles which were very thick compared to the final gel molds you see in the images above. In the middle you can see the newer chips that contain all of the same sensors and components as the bulkier one on the left!
In the next version of Boogio, we had a prototyping device that could clip on the outside of the shoe which made it substantially easier to debug and experiment with since it no longer required to pull out. You can see wires crossing over from inside the foot where the sole is.

We use the latest and greatest Java/Android and Objective-C/iOS tools to develop the sleek apps that talk to your Boogio shoe. The Official software development kits for Boogio are based on our research and implementations that allow us to move forward into the future of the next wearable smart-tech. Sensor data can be monitored live with unprecedented accuracy to simulate 3D movement for animations, integrate with your watch for medical purposes, or enhance your favorite video games.
